This Privacy Policy explains how AiFi systems LLC, operating the brand Their Little Language (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit theirlittlelanguage.com, purchase a personalized product, submit personalization information, approve a proof, or contact us.

Adult-only service and child-related content The service is directed to adults. A parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult—not a child—must complete the intake and proof process. Personalization content about a child receives additional restrictions described below. |
1. Who controls your information
AiFi systems LLC is the business responsible for the customer relationship and acts as the controller or business for information handled through Their Little Language, except where a provider acts independently under applicable law. Contact us at hello@theirlittlelanguage.com or at our registered office: 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States. The registered office is not a product return address.
2. Information we collect
- Account and contact information. Adult name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery address, and communications preferences.
- Order and transaction information. Products, edition, quantity, price, discounts, currency, tax, delivery method, order status, payment status, limited payment metadata, refunds, claims, and fraud or security signals. Payment providers process complete card or payment credentials.
- Personalization content. A child’s first name or nickname, words or phrases, adult-provided meanings, a short memory, optional approximate age or season, dedication, language, and design preferences; plus drafts, translations, proofs, approvals, and revision instructions.
- Device and website information. IP address, browser and device type, identifiers, pages or features used, approximate location, referral information, and cookie or consent choices.
- Support and claim information. Messages, order numbers, delivery questions, proof feedback, and photographs of a damaged product, packaging, or shipping label. Do not include a child in a claim photograph.
3. Information you should not submit
Do not submit a child’s surname, exact birth date, home or school address, telephone number, email address, account credential, government identifier, medical or developmental information, photograph, audio, video, or any information not needed for the text-based keepsake. Do not submit information about another person without authority. If unnecessary sensitive information is received, we may remove it, ask you to resubmit, or delete the submission.
4. Sources of information
We receive information directly from the adult purchaser or authorized contact; automatically from the website and devices; from Shopify, payment, fraud-prevention, fulfillment, delivery, analytics, and support providers; and from another adult who purchases or manages an order for a household.
5. How and why we use information
- Operate the site; provide product information; create, translate where purchased, edit, lay out, proof, manufacture, deliver, and support the personalized order.
- Authenticate instructions, preserve proof approval, process payment and refunds, prevent fraud, and secure the service.
- Communicate about intake, revisions, approvals, production, tracking, delays, claims, and customer service.
- Comply with tax, accounting, product, consumer, privacy, sanctions, court, and other legal obligations; establish or defend legal claims.
- Improve the non-personalized website and business using aggregated or minimized information; measure marketing only where allowed by consent or law.
- Send marketing only where permitted and honor unsubscribe, cookie, sale/share, and targeted-advertising choices.
Where EEA or UK law requires a legal basis, we rely as appropriate on performance of a contract or pre-contract steps, compliance with law, our legitimate interests in security and operating the service, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent prospectively, but withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing and may prevent us from completing a requested personalization service.
6. AI-assisted tools and personalization safeguards
We may use carefully configured AI-assisted or automated tools for limited drafting, translation, layout, or quality support. We minimize the information sent, use adult-managed workflows, review output in our process, and require customer proof approval before production. We do not use personalization content for targeted advertising and do not authorize providers to use it to train general-purpose models or for unrelated purposes. We do not use personalization content to make legal, educational, medical, or other similarly significant automated decisions about a child.
Personalization intake and proof pages should not contain advertising pixels, session-replay tools, or content-bearing URLs, page titles, analytics labels, or email subject lines. If our practices materially change, we will update this Policy and obtain consent where required.
7. How we disclose information
- Shopify and commerce providers. Shop hosting, checkout, payment, fraud prevention, order records, customer communications, and privacy controls.
- Prodigi and fulfillment network. Recipient name and delivery details, order configuration, production artwork or PDF, and support information needed to manufacture, route, deliver, reprint, or investigate the order. Prodigi may use distributed production partners and carriers.
- Technology and professional providers. Hosting, secure storage, email, customer support, design, translation, AI-assisted tooling, security, analytics, accounting, insurance, and legal services, limited to the relevant task.
- Legal and safety disclosures. Where reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or respond to lawful process.
- Business transfers. In a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and applicable law.
- At your direction. For example, the delivery address and carrier method you select or a separate, optional marketing permission you give.
We do not sell a child’s personalization content. Standard analytics or advertising technologies used on non-personalization pages may be treated as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws. Where applicable, use our cookie controls or the “Your Privacy Choices” / data-sharing opt-out link at theirlittlelanguage.com/pages/data-sharing-opt-out.
8. International processing
We and our providers may process information in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Sweden, and other countries where service, production, or delivery providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful transfer safeguards. Distributed fulfillment may require sending limited order and delivery data to the facility and carrier serving the destination.
9. Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including order fulfillment, the support and reprint window, security, disputes, and tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Transaction and legal records may be retained longer than creative working files.
For personalization content in our active systems, our operational target is to delete raw intake exports, working files, rejected proofs, and the approved production file 30 days after confirmed delivery and resolution of any open support issue, unless you request earlier deletion, authorize a different retention period, or law or a dispute requires preservation. Deletion may prevent reordering or later corrections.
Prodigi, production partners, and other providers may retain limited production, support, reprint, security, legal, or backup copies for their own documented periods. Restricted backups may not be erased immediately but are isolated from ordinary use and removed on their normal cycle. We cannot promise that every provider backup is erased on the exact same day as our active copy.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, such as access restrictions, provider controls, transmission protections, data minimization, and deletion routines. No system is perfectly secure. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to an order or proof.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising, and appeal a denied request. You may also complain to a privacy regulator. These rights can have exceptions, including where information is needed to complete an order, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.
Submit a request to hello@theirlittlelanguage.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify identity and authority, particularly for an order concerning a child. An authorized agent may be required to provide proof of authorization. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and will explain any lawful denial and available appeal process.
12. Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 through a child-directed service. Adults must control every submission. If you believe a child submitted information directly or information was provided without required authority, contact us. We will investigate and delete or restrict it as appropriate, subject to legal requirements. Parents and legal guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of child-related personalization content they are authorized to manage.
13. Cookies and similar technologies
We use necessary technologies for the store, checkout, fraud prevention, consent, and security and may use preference, analytics, or advertising technologies where permitted. The Cookie Notice explains categories and choices. Browser settings, our cookie banner, Global Privacy Control where recognized, and the privacy-choice link can be used to manage eligible technologies. Disabling necessary technologies may prevent checkout or account features from working.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy to reflect service, provider, or legal changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects existing personalization content, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Contact AiFi systems LLC / Their Little Language at hello@theirlittlelanguage.com or at our registered office: 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States. The registered office is not a product return address.
